Kanadukathan Sri Vishwanatha Kavi, who describes himself as a Shabdika (grammarian) and the son of Srimati Balamba and Sri Ramasubrahmanya, hailing from Shivapuram Agrahara of Pudukkottai, and residing in Kanadukathan.He is the author of Geeta-Gangeyam, modeled on the Geeta-govindam of Jayadeva, but with plenty of charm and merit of its own.
